Gotas de Luar (“Drops of full moon”) is a small hotel in a rural village of South-West Alentejo Region in Portugal offering all the conditions for calm and peaceful journeys.

Gotas de Luar is located in an exceptional natural environment, 5 km away from the most beautiful Portuguese beaches as Praia do Malhao.

Gotas de Luar proposes cozy rooms and several indoor and outdoor common spaces, providing guests with comfort and opportunities for interesting exchange.

Our five rooms are identified by color and name: blue for the Sea, green for the Life, white for the Moon, ochre for the Earth and red for the Sun. The rooms Moon and Life are prepared to welcome families with children. Wi-Fi is available in common spaces.

Because of our location, besides enjoying the beaches, you will be able to walk or discover by bicycle the Rota Vicentina, take a boat trip along the river Mira, practice sports as surfing. You will be as well able to enjoy our products (fruits, vegetables, jams), our donkeys and visit the handcrafts producers in the surrounding areas.

We own as well a very beautiful conference and leisure center (with capacity for 98 people), allowing the organization of marriages, concerts, seminaries, trainings, etc.
