Monte da Estrela, Country House and Spa is an Agrotourism in deep Alentejo, perfect to rest and relax in our facilities as well as to free the adventurous spirit of each one and explore the surroundings. It is located in the municipality of Moura, has seven rooms with heated schist floor, all of them with a hammock on the doorstep, In addition to the comfort in the rooms, the house offers all the conditions for a perfect stay. It has a snooker room, a library in a mezzanine, a living room with a salamander in center, a wine cellar, exterior salt water pool, a SPA with sauna, turkish bath, jacuzzi, massage room and a gym area. Monte da Estrela is right in the middle of the Dark Sky Alqueva Reserve, the first in the world to receive a quality seal that attests to the unique characteristics of the night sky. For guests there is a terrace created just with the purpose of stargazing. The guests may also participate in the rural activities such as, harvesting vegetables from our organic garden, collect eggs from the hennery, or understanding how clay amphora wine is made. To end the day in beauty, there is nothing like enjoying the gastronomy of the region, accompanied by a glass of wine produced at Monte da Estrela Country House & Spa.
